Hospital and pharmaceutical labels and forms have dramatically changed over the years. As a matter of fact Specialty Tape and Label's parent company is Hospital Healthcare Systems Inc. HHSI was started in the early 1980's providing labels to local hospitals and pharmacies, these labels were IV labels, blank pin feed labels, and medication warning labels. As the label market changed so did our company, pharmacies no longer use the individual warning labels these are all printed on demand with pharmacy forms, which we provide.

We still provide IV labels, blank pin feed labels, and others but with the addition of our multi-web press we now provide blood-testing labels, drug testing forms, biology forms and more. Hospitals and pharmacies are constantly looking for ways to reduce costs, and we have had a hand in that process by providing the institutions with some of our ideas and products.

Many hospital labels require special face stocks and/or adhesive combinations. Some of these labels and forms also require redundant information being printed on multiple layers, this information is used for tracking, and record keeping many times this information needs to be sequentially numbered.
